Security systems are not just limited to a simple Burglar Alarm today.
Modern Security Systems are a Integrated combination of Intrusion Alarms, Code Pads, Swipe Cards, FOBs, Finger Print Readers, Handheld Remote Controls, iPhone and iPad Access, Web Access, Surveillance Camera Systems, Intercom Systems and the Integration to other Systems like Lighting Control.

This picture depicts just that, here you can see an Intercom and Finger Print Reader. The Electric Strike in the Door can be operated from either a valid Finger Print swipe, or from the Home Owner on the Intercom, iPhone/iPad Access, the Green Exit Button (on the inside of the House) or via the Touch Screen.  There is also a Surveillance Camera just out of picture, feeding the image to every TV in the house, plus remote Access of the Camera Image.

If thats not enough, a valid Finger Print swipe opens the Door, turns Off the alarm and if it's dark, turns on some Welcoming Lights.  This type of result is standard for us and we do it on most jobs. The point of being an Integrator, is to integrate different systems and make them function as one, for convenience.
