It all started as the earth cooled, and the seas formed...................... no not really, it was about 20 years ago when Ian started his electrical apprenticeship (1990), and after a few years as a "sparks" he worked in Japan for 18 months at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo and had his eyes opened to what technology in a building could do. On returning home in 1999, Ian and his wife, Tam, started an electrical business with the focus on electrical plus associated technical services. At first this was limited to telephone sockets and TV points, but over the next few years Ian gained about 40 certificates and accreditations for various products and systems.
The most important accreditation and skill posessed by Ian is, as a Clipsal CBus advanced programmer and with this, Clipsal's awarding of "Approved Installer" allowing Ian to offer a 4 year factory warranty on installation, and
also being awarded Clipsal ''Point One accreditated integration professional''. There are only 12 business's in victoria who hold this accreditation and the other 11 are all in Melbourne's inner east. So as Victorias only regional business with this level of Clipsal certification, you can imagine how much pride and dedication it has taken to get there.

Being regional Ian has focused on customer service and support, because ''your reputation is everything in a small pond'', the list of accreditations is impressive, please ask for a copy so you know you are truly dealing with the best. Ian has also committed to giving back to the industry, through the smart wired program, skillsone, CEDIA and Deakin Uni - Architecture department, Geelong. Although committing time to various industry groups does not fill the bank, it is a valuable part of learning how to provide better service, and there by excelling in a service based business.
