Our atitude to your project is to search untill we find the means to achieve the exact result you want.  We have had many quirky projects over the years, and the one that takes the cake is a property with large gardens and life size whale rib bones (made of concrete) arching over a pathway, where the client wanted whale songs to play every time you walked through the whale bone arbour.  Simple enough from our point of view, a motion sensor, some speakers in the bushes and a source of sound from a CD player, it seems we have a name for finding ways for technology to be implemented to create an artistic result.


A recent project was to hand make a dozen
lights like no others availiable.  The process was
rather organic, being in constant contact with the
client to work through different design criteria and
arrive at the result pictured.  

First we drew up an initial design, and took that to the pattern makers, after the pattern was made we had the ends cast, then had the aluminium fabricators make the ribs and back plate, then had the opaque glass slumped for an old world feel.

After that we had an artist (Muse studios, in Pt Lonsdale) create the matching patina finish so that the lights were an exact aged bronze look as the existing urns in the garden.  





So the end result is a very personal reflection of the property owner, who wanted an individual result.  The paterns were given to the client so that this will be the only place you will see these lights.

The process took 4 months due to the time to work with different service providers and manufacture the fittings, but this is what we do best.

The reason we have usd the light fittings as an example is beacuse while we generally provide very technical solutions the process is the same no matter what the end goal, be that a light fitting, or the greatest home automation system known to mankind.  The light fitting had a minimal number of steps, if we were to detail a full home automation spec and process here it would take a considerable number of pages.
